Is this normal for silver jewelry?
I bought a Pandora charm of a shop on Ebay, like a real supplier (99.9% positive voice, so the price seemed fair.) But it seems that advertising .. And I am sure it is genuine, because in the lower charm that says, ALE-925. It seems that the stimulation of the money is there? No color change to the stimulus. The "925" mark, when it is demonstrated by real money (92.5% silver, the rest mainly copper for hardness) instead of the plate money. The silver is tarnished, but I think what you see, might one specific effect. Note how the black color only found in deeper areas. Jewelers sometimes for a solution of sodium sulfide on the surfaces of copper and silver. This dye has a black metal. The pigmentation can be removed easily fields raised, but remain in the cabinet. This adds a visual contrast with the room. It is also possible (but less likely) that the part was sitting around for a while before the sale and the seller be cleaned easily, resulting in the same direction. If you want to delete, you can try to access hard and shiny silver, but this may not have the pigmentation of the cracks. An electrochemical method for removing the work could endanger - which have been related to (I have not tried this method).
