What power(s) does sapphire ( and garnet) have on it's wearer?
My boyfriend recently gave me a sapphire ring as a promise ring, and I was wondering what sapphire is good for. I always wear one ring on each ring finger at all times I awake or moving, and if I don't, I feel naked. I can't sleep in rings. I guess I don't need them at night, because they always make my fingers really puffy right where the ring is. I had a garnet necklace, that I unfortunately left at home (I'm away at college). My sister got almost identical garnet necklaces for the both of us when she was in Prague, and I always wore it to help me. So I guess my question is, what powers do sapphire and garnet have, and if I wore my ring and my necklace at the same time, would they interfere with each other?
My rings fit fine, thank you. And I'm not allergic to them.
These are more matters of faith than Scientific facts. Astrologers believe that these precious and semi precious stones can change the fate of the the person who wears them, whether for good or for bad. Accordingly they prescribe certain stones to ascendants of certain stars/sun signs.
As I said earlier, there is no Silentic reason behind it. Wear your necklace or ring if you believe in astrology.
I should mention here that, if you wear a ring to improve your luck, you should keep on wearing it without removing. If your fingers swell, that may be because of a wrong sized ring which should be corrected.
