Hoop Plugs

Just got a 2nd hand Rotastak for 2 mice (coming soon) but have no instructions on how to put ittogether?
I've got lots of "rooms" but am not sure how to link them up - lots of tubes - straight and curved, with "plugs|" for blocking off unwanted exits - but HOW do I put the tubes together and attach to the various holes in the rooms? I have grey metal "hoops / rings" red plastic hoops/rings - some with clips.
Any experts out there?

The grey metal rings you have described are Anti Gnaw rings which are designed to be placed on the end of tubes in the cage to stop hamsters from chewing the ends of the tubes.
The curved tubes you get two halves of one and using a smooth red ring (not the ones with clips) place one at either end of the tube
E.g

____ Two halves of tube (curved)

(____) Clip ends with round red rings
Keep doing this for each tube
____ _____

You should have some straight tubes with a ledge at the end of them. These are different from the normal straight tubes as the ledge part needs to go in one of the red rings to join the straight part to the curved tube.
Then simply slide the straight tube into the hole in the side/top or the cage.
If this was of no real help could you possibly give more detail on what sort of rotastak cage it is? Describe its shape etc.
